Mark Sultan (BBQ) preps new solo LP (watch "Everybody Knows"), touring

Mark Sultan, who puts the sauce to the smoke in the King Khan & BBQ Show, has a new solo album titled Let Me Out which is out October 12. The record was made at Mark’s Sound Imperfection studio in Germany and is another fine example of the soulful, ’60s-inspired garage pop he traffics in. We’ve got the premiere of the video for single “Everybody Knows” which was shot and directed by Yana Kann and employs some trippy split-screen techniques. You can watch that below.

You can also catch Mark on tour now. After a few dates in Canada, he’ll be dropping down into the U.S. and has a couple NYC shows: the roof at Our Wicked Lady on October 10 where he’ll where he’ll play solo before being backed by The Mystery Lights (more info), and a solo show on  October 11 at Berlin (tickets).

Let Me Out will be released October 12 via Modern Sky USA (US/Canada), Dirty Water Records (Europe), and Burger Records (cassette worldwide). All tour dates are listed below.
